Data Conversion BPO Is All Fraud. Beware
|
Can't Post

Hey Guys. Data Conversion BPO is all Fraud. There is no Jobwork but there is no dearth of Consultants who claim to have jobwork. Normally the modus operandi adopted are: - Open up a good office.
- Have a good looking front office staff.
- Talk in multiples of 50 PC's or thereabouts (it get's a bigger chunk initially)
- Talk about Third Party Quality Control (Another Hurdle created by them to ensure that they do not pay you).
- Talk about time schedules.
- Keep changing or switching their cell numbers, contact numbers and many time even the contact address.
- Talk about WIPRO, etc so as to impress you with knowledge (which they don't have. The only knowledge that they have is how to cheat you and be legally safe even after that).
- Keep changing the guidelines multiple times so as to ensure that you can never reach 99% accuracy that they have as a precondition for paying.
- Have a 30 day time lag between invoicing and paying you. So that they have your cash for two to three months even before your first payment becomes due.
- And On The D-Day (the day when you thought you would be paid), they show you a "Bounced Cheque".
Points to be taken note of: - Never trust a Consultant with a BPO Data Conversion Jobwork. Apply your common sense. A Overseas company would never give any consulatant a data conversion jobwork.
- Never Deal with a Consultant who is basically a agent of some other Consultant.
- Ask for Certified Copy of their passport.
- Ask them for a certificate of domicile which they have to get from the municipal coirporation.
- Ask them for a Voter's Identity Card.
- Ask them for a guarantor.
- Never Believe in what they say. Ask them to give everything in black and white.
- Never Pay anything upfront. Why should you?
- Never Believe in certificates of ISO etc that they show you. ISO certificate doen't mean that they are not Frauds.
- Never Believe in any company on web with less than tow to three years of standing on web. Newly formed companies shouldn't be trusted at all. They disappear as fast as they appear.
- Always apply your common sense before signing any paper.
- Never pay anything without receipt.
- Always ask for their Banker's endorsement of their signatures.
Even after all these you can never be sure that you will get payments. Only thing that you can be sure of that you will be shown a bounced cheque. So beware! 99.9% of data conversion BPO through Consultants or their Nexus is Fraud and it's very difficult to find the 0.1% genuine one's.....
