Server Upgrade Notification

Hello,
As we phase out old hardware every two years, we shall be upgrading the server to a new box with higher dual cpu and higher RAID1 capacity disks. The upgrade will also replace the unsupported RH9 with CentOS. This would be done Monday/Tuesday morning and we do not expect major downtime for most of the services. However, due to reinstallation and reconfiguration following services would take time to come up (approximately 60 minutes)
- mod_perl proxy http server
- DCC, Pyzor and Razor integration to MTA (this could mean that there would be a bit of more spam during the time that we configure these services on the new server after it's brought online)
- Antivirus scanner integration
In addition, all accounts which are hosted with us and had requested any custom perl modules and find any of there softwares dependant on them not working please feel free to post your ticket and we shall update the same. Alternatively you could also contact customer@scorpioinformatics.com and we shall do the needful. You could also message taursbu on AOL IM the online support desk.
We are trying our best to ensure that the downtime is restricted to minimum. As soon as the new server is up and functional with all the services running, we shall post in continuation to this thread. This however would exclude any custom perl modules that any user had requested on the present box.
